On October 18, 2017, Cordia and its partners hosted the Executive Women’s Networking Wine Tasting event for a special evening of cocktails and networking at the Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner, VA, with over 70 women in attendance. Founded over 9 years ago by Dana Fisher, the Executive Women’s Networking group meets bi-annually to support women in business and local Washington, DC charities, including The Women’s Shelter, Shelter House, and Suited for Change. The Executive Women’s Networking group currently has six sponsors, including CohnReznick, Holland & Knight, MV Financial Group, TD Bank, and Willis Towers Watson. All six sponsors represent a complimentary service – accounting, audit, legal, insurance, wealth management, banking, and talent acquisition.
Cordia and its fellow sponsors had a great group in attendance to come together for meaningful networking and to connect with friends and colleagues in the Washington, DC area. Finance and accounting Senior Recruiter Christine Pazmino and Resource Manager Cory Abernethy attended the event. Christine shared, “The Executive Women’s Networking event is always a fun evening where we can see old friends and make new connections with women who are leaders in the various industries we serve for their talent acquisition needs.”
